Service description
Karpanai provides digital audiobook content for personal listening through our mobile apps on iOS and Android. Content is licensed for streaming within the app, not sold as downloadable files through this website.
Accounts
You may browse free content without an account. To purchase content and sync your library, you must sign in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and identity provider account.
Purchases and refunds
All purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices are displayed in the app in your local currency. Refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google according to their respective policies. Karpanai does not process payments or refunds directly. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.
License
When you purchase content, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to stream that content within the Karpanai app. You may not copy, redistribute, broadcast, or resell the audio or artwork.
Intellectual property
All audiobook recordings, narration, artwork, and app software are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Kamba Ramayanam and related literary works are part of Tamil cultural heritage; our recordings and illustrations are original productions for the Karpanai app.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to circumvent purchase or access controls
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or extract content from the service
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
Disclaimer
Karpanai is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Karpanai shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
